Recruitment of Nursing Officers in AIIMS on contractual basis
AIIMS plans to recruit nurses on contractual basis. Those who had qualified NORCET 2020 are eligible to apply for these appointments. Those who want to apply may apply for the post of Nursing Officer (Contractual) on AIIMS website www.aiimsexams.ac.in
All those who apply will be listed as per their NORCET rank in NORCET 2020 & selection will be made in order to merit for various categories subject to verification of their documents & their being found eligible as per RR given below:-

I. (i) B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing/B.Sc Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/ State Nursing Council recognized Institute or University

B.Sc(Post-certificate)/ Post Basic B.Sc Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/ State Nursing Council recognized Institute or University
(ii) Registered as Nurse & Midwife in State / Indian Nursing Council
OR
II. (i) Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council recognized Institute/ State Nursing Council
(ii) Registered as Nurses & Midwife in State / Indian Nursing Council.
(iii) Two year`s experience in minimum 50 bedded Hospital after acquiring the educational qualification mentioned above

30 years(Age relaxation to candidate selected against reserve categoryas applicable,in view of extant GoI instruction)
Monthly Remuneration
Rs. 28,000/-per month (consolidated)

Terms & Conditions For Contract Appointment For the post of Nursing Officer
1. The appointment is purely on CONTRACT BASIS for a period of 03 months with effect from the date of joining which can be further extended as per functional requirement of the Institute, or till such time the regular arrangements are being made, whichever is earlier. If the contract is not extended further, the same will lapse automatically. The appointment can also be terminated at any time, on either side, by giving one month’s notice or by paying one month’s salary without assigning any reason or failure to complete the period of three months to the satisfaction of competent authority.
2. The consolidated remuneration for the post of Nursing Officer will be Rs.28000/-per month (consolidated).
3. The appointee shall perform the duties as assigned to him/her. The competent authority reserves the right to assign any duty as and when required. No extra/additional allowances will be admissible in case of such assignment.
4. The appointee shall not be entitled to any benefit like Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Attendance Treatment, Seniority, Promotion etc. or any other benefits available to the Government Servants, appointed on regular basis.
5.The appointee shall not be granted any claim or right for regular appointment to any post of AIIMS as such appointment are purely on contractual basis.
6. The appointee shall be on the whole time appointment of the AIIMS and shall not accept any other assignment, paid or otherwise and shall not engage himself/herself in a private practice of any kind during the period of contract.
7. Leave entitlement of the appointee shall be governed in terms of instructions contained in DoP&T’S O.M. No.12016/3/84-Estt.(L) dated the 12thApril, 1985 as amended by OM No. 12016/1/96-Estt(L) dated the 5th July, 1990.
8. On appointment, the appointee will be required to take an oath of allegiance to the Constitution of India or make a solemn affirmation to that effect in the prescribed proforma.
9. The appointee is not entitled to any T.A. for attending the interview and joining the appointment.
10. The appointee shall not be entitled to avail any allowances/facilities being extended to the regular/permanent employees of the AIIMS.
11. Other conditions of service will be governed by relevant rules and orders issued from time to time.
12. Interested candidates may apply for the post in the Institute website www.aiimsexams.ac.in. One set of self attested copies of certificates/testimonial & other relevant documents along with original as required to be submitted at the time of joining. Offers of appointment will be made on the basis of their rank in NORCET-2020 strictly in order of merit among those who apply against this advertisement.
13. If any declaration given or information furnished by him/her proves false or if he /she is found to have willfully suppressed any material, information, he/she will be liable for removal from service and also such other action as the Government may deem necessary.
14. If any candidate is found canvassing for his/her selection, he/she will be disqualified for being called for interview/being selected
15. The AIIMS, New Delhi reserves the rights to increase or decrease the number of vacancies.
16. The decision of the Competent Authority regarding selection of the candidate will be final and no representations will be entertained in this regard.
17. The Number of Vacancies indicated is provisional and subject to change without any notice.
18. Crucial date for determination of eligibility with reference to age, qualification, experience, caste certificate etc. and all other terms & conditions will be the same as stipulated in NORCET advertisement dated 05.08.2020.
19. Eligible candidates are advised to apply online before scheduled date.
20. The selected candidates are expected to join the post at AIIMS, New Delhi immediately, after further communication of offer of appointment. They should report to the Recruitment cell, 1st Floor, Administrative Block, Near B.B. Dixit Library, AIIMS, New Delhi for verification of documents.
21. The candidates not having the required / desired documents will not be allowed to join the post.
22. Result of selection will be uploaded on AIIMS, website. No individual information will be given to the candidates.
