Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2018 Schedule, No. of Vacancies, Eligibility etc.
The Staff Selection Commission will conduct an open examination for recruitment to the posts of Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles as per the Recruitment Scheme formulated by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and as per the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Ministry of Home Affairs and the Staff Selection Commission. The recruitment process will consist of Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Medical Examination.

AGE LIMIT:
18-23 years as on 01.08.2018. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02.08.1995 and later than 01.08.2000.
Note-
I: The upper age limit is relaxable for SC, ST, OBC, Ex-Servicemen and other categories of persons in accordance with the Governments orders on the subject.

Educational Qualification for constable GD
Candidate should be Matric pass from a recognized board. Candidates having higher qualification may also apply.
Pay Scale- Rs 21700- 69100.
Application Fee for constable GD
(i) Fee payable: Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only).
(ii) Fee can be paid through SBI Challan/ SBI Net Banking or by using Visa, Mastercard or Maestro Credit or Debit card.
(iii) Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
(iv) Applications received without the prescribed fee shall not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection will be entertained. Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor will it be adjusted against any other examination or selection.

Part-I One-Time Registration
Candidates applying for the Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2018 are required to register afresh. Old Registration ID and Password, if any, will not work on the new website.

Login to online system through your registered Email ID and password provided on your mobile number and Email. Change your password, when prompted.

Mode of Selection-
The recruitment process will consist of Written Exam, Physical Standards Test, Medical Test, Physical Efficiency Test & Document Verification. It is Expected that SSC will conduct Online Exam for Constable GD Posts from Year 2018. The Commission will prepare the final merit list of candidates category-wise and state-wise without making any force allocation. Force allocation will be done by Nodal CRPF/ MHA and the final result will also be declared by them.
