Centralized Admissions to all UG & PG courses in Government colleges & most of the courses in Grant-in-Aid Colleges for 2017-2018
Chandigarh Administration has taken initiative to accept online Application Forms for admission to all Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate courses in Government colleges and most of the courses in Grant-in-Aid Colleges for the session 2017-2018. For the convenience of applicants, Centralized Counselling would be held for certain UG and PG Courses. This novel practice is going to save applicants a lot of time energy and money.
All the applicants have to apply online only; no offline application submission mode is available. However, the hardcopy of the Online Application form is required to be submitted in respective college on the day of counselling as per admission schedule given in the Prospectus. If an applicant is interested in applying in more than one course/college then the applicant has to fill separate online application forms for each course/college.
Applicants are advised to refer to Joint and College online Prospectus for the details of courses, number of seats in various colleges, the procedure to apply, etc.
Key Dates-
Last date for Online Submission of Admission Forms for all centralised courses and streams- 26th June, 2017
Display of tentative merit lis-t 5th July, 2017 by 4:00 p.m.
Objections (if any) in the tentative merit list can be filed at www.dhe.chd.gov.in- 7th July 2017 by 1:00 p.m.
Display of final merit list 8th July 2017 by 1:00 p.m.
Important-
If a reserve candidate falls under the GENERAL CATEGORY merit list, the candidate will be given admission in the GENERAL CATEGORY only. So the candidate must report as per admission schedule of General Category on the date and time specified under General Category.
After the 2nd counselling, subsequent counselling will take place in respective colleges subject to availability of seats.
Note:
• Admission to B.A, M.A. and M.Sc. except M.Sc. (IT) & M.Com. will take place in the respective colleges. For admission schedule of these classes, the candidates can refer to the website of the respective college.
• Candidates are required to bring a ‘Hard Copy’ of the admission form on the day of admission along with the self-attested photocopies of his/her certificates.
