NOTICE REGARDING GOOD ACADEMIC RECORD FOR PGT Advt. 4/2015
Reference Haryana Staff Selection Commission's Advt. No. 4/2015 for various posts of PGT.
There was a provision in the Advertisement No. 4/2015 under heading qualification "common to all posts" Eligibility para (c), NOTE-2, that, consistent Good Academic record implying that out of the lower qualification i.e. Matric/ 10+2/Graduation than requisite minimum qualification, one must secure at least 50% marks in two lower exams and. 45% marks in third rower exam. If there are only two lower exam. than one must secure at least 50% marks in One exam and.45% marks in another. However "Applications of candidates not having consistent good academic record will be accepted provisionally as per directions of Hon'ble Punjab & Haryana High Court Chandigarh passed in CWP No. 19247 of 2014 titled as Rakesh Kumar & others Vs. State of Haryana, subject to final decision of the said CWP.
The Director, Secondary Education, Haryana Vide Memo No.8/6-2015-CO.(1) dated 22.08.2016 has intimated that now, Government has decided that in the Haryana state Education school cadre(Group B ) service Rules, 2012'as well as in the Mewat District school Education (Group-II) service Rules, 2012' in Appendix-B for note (iii) the following note shall be substituted w.e.f. 28.06.2015, namely:-
"(iii) In case of direct recruitment "Good Academic Record Means the candidate having 50% marks after taking average of all examination i.e 10th/12th/Graduation/Post Graduation as the case may be. However, the candidate must have at least 50% in Post-Graduation.
Accordingly the Commission will make the recruitment as per above provision of 'Good Academic Record."
