Haryana Public Service Commission invites online applications from eligible candidates for a competitive
examination for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Engineer (Civil) and (Mechanical) Class-II in
Public Health Engineering Department, Haryana.

Key Dates-
(a) Closing date for the submission of applications online : 16.12.2015
(b) Closing date for deposit of cost of application form including 5 Examination fees in all branches of State bank of India & State Bank of Patiala. : 19.12.2015 up to 4:00 PM.
(c) Closing date for receiving printed application form alongwith documents in support of the claim in Commission’s office: 04.01.2016 upto 05:00 P.M. and for the applicants from Forward Remote Areas i.e. States/Union Territories of North–East Region, Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Sikkim, Ladakh Region of Jammu & Kashmir and Pangi Sub-Division of Himachal Pradesh:- 11.01.2016 upto 05.00 P.M.
Essential Qualifications:-
(c) Closing date for receiving printed application form alongwith documents in support of the claim in Commission’s office: 04.01.2016 upto 05:00 P.M. and for the applicants from Forward Remote Areas i.e. States/Union Territories of North–East Region, Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Sikkim, Ladakh Region of Jammu & Kashmir and Pangi Sub-Division of Himachal Pradesh:- 11.01.2016 upto 05.00 P.M.
(A) Assistant Engineer (Civil)
(i) Degree of a recognized University or one of the other equivalent qualifications in Civil Engineering specified in Appendix ‘B’ to the Punjab Service of Engineers Class-II PWD (Public Health) Rules,1966.
(ii) Hindi / Sanskrit upto Matric Standard. Provided that Degree obtained through distance education mode from Universities/Deemed Universities/Technical Institutions is valid qualification for initial recruitment only if such Degree programme of technical education conducted through distance education mode has been approved by the joint Committee of UGC-AICTEDEC as clarified by the Govt. of Haryana vide its letter No. 42/178/2008-5GSI dated 21.05.2009.
(B) Assistant Engineer (Mechanical)
(i) Degree of a recognized University or one of the other equivalent qualifications in Mechanical Engineering specified in Appendix ‘B’ to the Punjab Service of Engineers Class-II PWD (Public Health) Rules,1966.
(ii) Hindi / Sanskrit upto Matric Standard.
Provided that Degree obtained through distance education mode from Universities/Deemed Universities/Technical Institutions is valid qualification for initial recruitment only if such Degree programme of technical education conducted through distance education mode has been approved by the joint Committee of UGC-AICTE-DEC as clarified by the Govt. of Haryana vide its letter No. 42/178/2008-5GSI dated 21.05.2009.
Age:-
Candidate should not be less than 20 years and not more than 42 years as on 01.08.2015.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800+5400/- Grade Pay
Application Fees:-
The online application fees which is payable at all branches of State Bank of Patiala and State Bank of India is as under:-
(i) For Male candidates of General category including Dependent Son of Ex-servicemen of Haryana (ii) For Male candidates of General and all reserved categories of other states- Rs.1000/-
(i) For all Female candidates of General category including Female Dependent of Ex-servicemen of Haryana only.
(ii) For Female candidates of General and all reserved categories of other States- Rs.250/-
For Male & Female candidates of SC / BC / EBP (GC)/ ESM categories of Haryana only.- Rs.250/-
For all Physically Handicapped candidates (with at least 40% disability) categories of Haryana only.- NIL
Submission of Application Form:-
Candidate should ensure that the hard copy of their online application form alongwith all photocopies of certificates and two passport size photo (same as scanned on online application form) for admission to the examination must reach Commission office at Bays No.1 - 10, Block–B, Sector-4, Panchkula by post or by personal delivery by close of office working on or before the closing date i.e. 04.01.2016 (11.01.2016 for applicants from forward remote areas) failing which these will not be accepted. The Haryana Public service Commission will not be responsible for any delay on the part of Postal Department or Courier Agency and all the applications received after the closing date will be rejected out rightly. Incomplete or unsigned application forms shall also be rejected out rightly.
