HARYANA STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION
Notice for holding written examination for various posts against Advt. No. 2/2015
It is notified for the information of all concerned that Haryana Staff Selection Commission will hold written examination at Yamuna Nagar for the under mentioned categories of posts as per schedule given below:-
1 Junior Engineer (Mechanical)
For PWD (B&R), Dept. Advt. No.2/2015 Cat. No. 06
Date & time of Exam.-29.11.2015 (Morning) from 10.30 A.M to 12.00 Noon
Place- Yamuna Nagar
2. Junior Engineer(Civil)
For HSAMB Advt. No.2/2015 Cat.No.13
Date & time of Exam.- 29.11.2015 (Evening) from 03.00 P.M. to 04.30 P.M.
Place- Yamuna Nagar
Scheme of Exam.-
The written examination for the above posts will comprise of 100 multiple choice questions and divided into two portions comprising:-
i) 75% weightage for General awareness, Reasoning, Maths Science, English, Hindi etc. (the word etc. means and includes concerned relevant subjects.
ii) 25% weightage for History, Current Affairs, Literature, Geography, Civics, Environment, Culture etc. of Haryana. Each question will carry two marks.
Viva-Voce will be of 25 marks.
The number of candidates called for interview will be twice the number of vacancies. The total marks obtained in the written test and viva-voce will determine the merit of the candidates in their respective categories.
Admit Card-
Admit Card for written examination of the candidates will be uploaded on the Commission's Web-site i.e. www.hssc.gov.in. The candidates can download the admit cards from the Commission's Web-site from 23rd November, 2015 onwards. Candidates are advised to read the instructions on the Admit Card and given below in para-3 very carefully and follow the same strictly to avoid any adverse consequences.
No separate call letters will be sent to the candidates by the Commission through post.
